Brighton downed rival Prairie View 45-28 on the ThunderHawks' mats Feb. 3.

Prairie View picked up on-mat wins from Josiah Alvarado (120 pounds), Vincent Klabon (132), Bryson Porta (182), Christopher Parks (285) and Nolan Peterson (106) and Ane'e Vigil (113).
 
Brighton's on-mat wins came from Josiah Gallegos (126), Bryce Bravo-Packer (138), Sam Rock (152(, DJ Rock (160), Izaiah Schoepp (170), Taylor Hruby (195) and Dylan BravoPacker (220).

Next up for both squads is the regional tournament. BHS heads to Fruita Monument, while the ThunderHawks host a regional meet Saturday, Feb. 12.

The top four finishers from each weight class advance to the state 5A meet at Ball Arena, which starts Thursday, Feb. 17.
