Vern Stephan Harris, 69, of Northglenn, passed away Aug. 27, 2012, at St. Anthony North Hospital. He was born Jan. 12, 1943, to Walter and Edith Harris in Santa Ana, Calif. He attended school at Holy Family High School.
He is survived by siblings, Marjorie Long, of Westminster; Chris Harris, of Japan; Virgil Harris and Barbara Battaia, of Englewood; John Harris, of Rupert, Idaho; George Harris, of Longmont; Verdon Harris, of Woodland Park; and Fredia Harris; daughter Shannon (Craig) Schnell, of Brighton; son Matthew Harris, of Virginia; and four grandchildren. Vern was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Edith Harris, and a granddaughter, Kayla Marie.
The family plans for private services. Erlinger Funeral Home of Brighton handled the arrangements.
