Acosta

     Estela and Edgardo Acosta, of Brighton, announce the birth of their son, David Edgardo Acosta.

    David was born Jan. 6, 2010, at Platte Valley Medical Center. He weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce and measured 20 1/2 inches.

    David’s grandparents are Estela Medina-Gonzalez, of Mexico, Francisco Orozco-Valdez, Maria Esther Talavera, of Mexico, and Arturo Ervery Acosta.

    David joins sibling, Alma Karina, 11 1/2, at home.

Montoya

    Veronica and Brian A. Montoya, of Brighton, announce the birth of their son, Carlos Abraham Montoya.

    Carlos was born Jan. 7, 2010, at Platte Valley Medical Center. He weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces and measured 20 inches.

    Carlos’ grandparents are Crencensio and Gricelda Corral, of Fort Lupton, Joe F. Montoya and Flora Fernandez, of Brighton.

    Carlos joins siblings, Anthony, 12, Annalee, 7 and Nathaniel, 3, at home.

Mendoza

    Janneth Garcia, of Commerce City, and Michael Mendoza, of Federal Heights, announce the birth of their son, Anthony DeAndre Mendoza.

    Anthony was born Jan. 12, 2010, at Platte Valley Medical Center. He weighed 6 pounds, 9 ounces and measured 19 1/4 inches.

    Anthony’s grandparent is Silvia Jacquez, of Commerce City.

Chavez-Ontiveras

    Brenda Chavez, of Brighton, and Jose Miguel Ontiveros Jr., of Denver, announce the birth of their son, Gemini Felipe Chavez-Ontiveros.

    Gemini was born Jan. 12, 2010, at Platte Valley Medical Center. He weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces and measured 21 inches.

    Grandparents are Veronica and Hector Chavez, of Brighton, Lucina Gurrola-Baca and Jose Miguel Ontiveros, of Denver. His great-grandparents are Ramon and Maria, of Mexico, Maria Luz Chavez, of Brighton, and Everardo and Manuelita, of Denver.
