COLORADO SPRINGS --Holy Family's Kylie Horning and Alesandra Wise captured the state title at No. 4 doubles May 14.

Thye pair held off Mariah Dean and Kate Davis of D'Evelyn 6-2, 7-6.

Horning and Wise sailed through the first two rounds. In the semifinals, Horning and Wise held off Rory West and Krystyna Ostaszewksi of Peak to Peak 6-4, 2-6, 6-2.

The Tigers' Clara Meisner and Sarahk Stonehocker came up short in their bid for a state crown at No. 1 doubles. Anna day and Maria Christoffersen of D'Evelyn won the match 6-3, 6-1. Meisner and Day won their first three matches in the minimum two sets. The toughest match was in the semifinals, where the duo turned back Liesel Wilkinson and Amanda Dietrich of Steamboat Springs 6-4, 6-4

The No. 3 doubles team (Ava Silverstein and Katelyn Morris) finished fourth. The twosome beat Northfield's Erin Daidone and Isabella Carabetta 6-3, 6-1 in a playback match. The Tigers' tandem lost to Avery Farmer and Amanda Wilson of Colorado Academy in straight sets

Silverstein and Morris beat Ava Berger and Mia Stein of Dawson School in straight sets in the opening round, then got past Tess Goscha and Amanda Madden of Glenwood Springs 7-5, 6-2. Karina Li and Sarah Cook of D'Evelyn beat Silverstein and Morris 6-3, 6-1 in the semifinals.

The No. 2 doubles team (Avery Alderman and Raelynn Pickup) advanced to the semifinals before losing its first match. The Tigers' pair beat Sydney Stern and Jolie Pinssonneault of Conifer in straight sets, then beat Lauren Angelo and Benedetta Armano 6-2, 6-2. Cheranne Wang and Maisy Schoeman of D'Evelyn beat Alderman and Pickup 6-1, 6-1 in the semifinals.

In their first playback round match, Sofie Brunner and Aria Webster of Vail Mountain beat the Tigers' team 6-2, 7-6..

Elsewhere, Annabelle Kenny won her first match at No. 1 singles 6-0, 6-1 over Arvada's Michelle Chen. Grace Li of D'Evelyn beat Kenny 6-4, 7-6 in the quarterfinals. Kenny then lost in the playback round to Katherine Pulido of Colorado Academy 6-2, 6-2.

At No. 2 singles, Laura Baker of the Tigers beat Aspen's Gemma Hill 6-2, 6-0 in the opening round. Evelyn Oltmans of D'Evelyn beat the Holy Family sophomore 6-1, 6-0 in the quarterfinals. Baker won her first playback match, a 6-4, 6-0 triumph over Mia Jones of Dawson School. But in the second playback match, Ava Zink of Severance ended Baker's season 6-1, 6-3.

Audrey Brower, Holy Family's No. 3 singles player, lost her first-round match to Siri Henmderson of Glenwood Springs 7-5, 6-3.

Holy Family tied for second in the team point standings.
