Steven Ryan is due back in Weld County Court at 2 p.m., March 23.

Ryan’s car passed into the eastbound lanes of state Highway 52 near Weld County Road 21 and collided head-on with another vehicle. That car’s driver and her daughter died.

The Weld County District Attorney's Office originally charged Ryan with eight counts, four of which were felonies.
