Melissa Carpenter and Daniel Lucero, of Brighton, announce the birth of their daughter, Mersayaz Danielle Lucero.  Mersayaz was born Nov. 7, 2010, at Platte Valley Medical Center in Brighton.  She weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces and measured 20 ½ inches.
    Mersayaz’s grandparents are Nadine Greann, Joh Carpenter and Hubert and Terri Lucero, all of Brighton.  Her great-grandparents are Violet Ballentine, of Torrance, Calif., and Betty Ballard, of Jacksonville, Ill.
