Margaret R. Garcia, 92, of Commerce City, died Jan. 18, 2012, at her home.
She was born Aug. 27, 1919, in Cimmaron, N.M., to Epifano Rodriguez and Juanita Sanchez.
Survivors include her children, Andrew (Mary Louise) Garcia, of Denver, Jim (Rosalie) Garcia, of Manassas, Va., John (Dolores Samora), Garcia, of Northglenn, Louise (Billy) Archuleta, of Commerce City, Paulette (Steve) Trujillo, of Firestone, Shirley Garcia, of Commerce City, and Judy (Pete) Torrez, of Fort Lupton; 15 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dionicio “Dan” in March 1986; four brothers; and one sister.
Visitation is from 2 to 5 p.m., Jan. 25, at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home in Brighton. Rosary Service is 10:30 a.m., Jan. 26, followed by Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m., at Our Lady Mother of the Church in Commerce City. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
