Lorraine Marie Bachicha, 68, of Brighton, died July 8, 2012, at her home.
She was born Oct. 1, 1943, in Brighton to Lasher Atencio and Rose Fernandez. She married Pino Bachicha Jan. 7, 1961, in Fort Lupton.
She worked for 22 years as an administrative assistant to the chief of police in Fort Lupton. Lorraine then worked for another 11 years in the Fort Lupton Re-8 School District.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, of Brighton; children, Crystal Bachicha of Arvada, Teena Bachicha of Henderson, Sonny Bachicha of Brighton and Lenny Bachicha of Thornton; mother, Rose Sandoval; sisters Debbie Fritz and Gaylene Sandoval; brother, Pat (Joni) Sandoval; eight grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was July 12 at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home in Brighton, which handled the arrangements. The Mass of Christian burial was July 13 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment followed at Hillside Cemetery.
