U.S. veteran Loren Elton Snyder, 89, of Evans, died Dec. 19, 2011, at his home with family near.
He was born in Greeley to Oscar Raymon and Margaret Rubena (Waters) Snyder. He attended Evans and Greeley schools and served four years in the U. S. Navy.
Loren is survived by his wife, Shirley; daughters, Lorrie Nicodemus (Douglas), of Moscow, Kan., Terry Valdez (Jesse), of Henderson, Carol McLeod (Tom), of Nucla, Valerie Bosanko (Randy), of Greeley; son, Robin Snyder, of Phoenix, Ariz.; brother, Keith Snyder, of Greeley; nieces and nephews; 17 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Donald; and a grandson.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Wild Animal Sanctuary, 1946 CR 53, Keenesburg, CO 80643, or a facility/organization of choice.
Memorial service was Dec. 24, at Kingdom Hall, in Greeley.
Cremation was handled by Allnut Funeral Chapel.
