Local wrestlers earn top rankings

Nine Fort Lupton wrestlers are among the top-rated class 3A wrestlers in their weight classes, according to On the Mat magazine Jan. 13.
They are 113-pounder Donovan Birmingham (No. 11), Kaidyn Taylor (No. 16 at 132 pounds), D'mitri Garza- Alarcon (No. 1 at 138 pounds). Danny rodriguez (No. 10 at 145 pounds), Will Alvarado (No. 5 at 152 pounds), Isaac Rodriguez (No. 16 at 152 pounds), Christopher Galicia (No. 14 at 160 pounds), Camen Galicia (No. 7 at 195 pounds), and Kayden Derbigny (No. 8 at 285 pounds).
A;ex Carrillo was the only Frederick wrestler to make the list. He is the No. 4-rated wrestler in class 4A at 132 pounds.
