Laura B. Tefft, 68, of Brighton, passed away Aug. 13, 2013, in Brighton. Born Aug. 2, 1945, in Buffalo, N.Y., to Howard and Elma (Hughes) Craw, she graduated from high school in Falconer, N.Y., in 1963. She married Thomas Tefft in New York in 1968.
Laura worked as an administrative assistant for an investment company for 10 years. She enjoyed flying airplanes with her son Wade. She enjoyed music, both country and classical. Laura was an animal lover and enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was avid in anything involving physical fitness and was involved in breast cancer support groups.
Laura is survived by her children, Wade (Nicole) Tefft, of Brighton, and Lynn (Robert) Hoff, of Aurora, Ill.; brother, David (Shanna) Craw, of LaSalle; sister, Carolyn (Richard) Durphy, of Lake in the Woods, Va.; half-sister, Joyce Kauffman, of Hilton Head, S.C., and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Thomas, earlier this year.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Tabor-Rice Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
