Kevin M. Welsh, 34, of Brighton, died May 14, 2011, at his home.
He was born Nov. 7, 1976, in Wheat Ridge to Steven Welsh and Peggy Tavenner. He graduated from Brighton High School in 1995 and married Ashley Schenfeld.
Kevin worked as a truck electrician for Mobile Diesel Electric since 1995. He loved go snowmobiling, motorcycling, ride go-karts, water skiing and snow skiing. Everything fast was his hobby. He loved Michael Jordan and watching Jeff Gordon, his favorite NASCAR driver. Trips up the hill to gamble were also included in his hobbies.
Kevin is survived by his wife; daughters, Kaylee Schenfeld and Payton Welsh, of Brighton; father, of Brighton; grandparents, Ron and Ivy Welsh, of Commerce City; brother, Monty Moore, of Longmont; and a sister, Wendy Moore, of Longmont.
He was preceded in death by his mother in 1990.
A memorial service was May 20 at Abundant Life Center, 650 E. Bridge St., Brighton.
