Kenneth Leroy Cook, 71, of Brighton, died Nov. 17, 2011.
He was born in Denver to Salmo Sam Cook and Eva Jean (Richardson) Cook June 9, 1940.
Kenneth was a loving, giving, and considerate man. He was exceptionally strong in his beliefs and convictions in life and deeply loved his family. He cherished time spent with his family and friends. He was fun loving and always wore a smile.
He will be missed so very much and his memory cherished forever.
Kenneth is survived by his wife Debra Cook (Franz) of Brighton; sons Scott Cook (Tim) and Robert Cook, of Cheyenne; daughter, Jeannie Cook, of Weatherford, Texas; stepsons Jason Ryden, of Glenwood Springs, and Justin Ryden, of Newcastle; brother, Leslie Cook, of Brighton; sisters, Darla Cook-Horn (Jack), of Thornton, and Carol Forte (Mike), of Brighton; two grandsons; one granddaughter; mother-in-law, Yvonne Franz; three nephews; two nieces; numerous great-nephews; great-nieces; and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Salmo C. (Sam) Cook.
A memorial service was Nov. 22 at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home in Brighton, which handled arrangements.
