Jerome C. Johnson, 73, of Brighton, died April 24, 2012. He was born December 13, 1938, in Sioux Falls, S.D., the son of John C. and Margaret P. (Murren) Johnson.
He entered the U.S. Air Force in August 1959 and honorably served our country until May 1963. On April 9, 1960, he married Shirley Ann Sessions in Lansing, Mich. Jerry worked for the Department of Justice Federal Bureau of Prisons for 30 years across the United States.
Survivors include his two sons and their wives, Brian and Mandy Johnson, of Brighton, and Patrick and Ann Johnson, of Ellabell, Ga.; three grandchildren, Taylor, Hunter and Lauren Johnson, of Brighton; two brothers and their wives, J.R and Karen Johnson of Petaluma, Calif., and Dennis and Vicki Johnson, of Britton, Mich.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife and his parents.
