Harvey L. Lehr, 71, of Fort Lupton, passed away Sept. 15, 2010 at his home.
Harvey attended schools in Fort Lupton but received his GED to enlist in the U.S. Air Force. He married Joan Den Besten Sept. 3, 1993. They made their home in Fort Lupton for the past 12 years after moving from Fort Collins where they had lived the majority of their lives. He enjoyed gardening and their pets. He also enjoyed the time he shared with his children and grandchildren, often taking care of them.
Harvey is survived by his wife, of Fort Lupton; daughters, Theresa Yelek, of Loveland, Brenda Baumgartner, of Keenesburg, Sherie Corliss, of Ault, Jacqueline King, of Greeley, and Katherine Ghering, of Yuma; son, Greg King, of Fort Collins; 12 grandchildren; sisters, June Warner, of Alabama, and Rebecca Suppes, of New Mexico; brother, Fred Lehr, of Colorado.
Funeral service is at 9:30 a.m., Sept. 22, 2010 at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home, followed by interment at noon at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver.
