AURORA -- Fort Lupton kept its state girls soccer playoff hopes alive by beating Aurora Central 2-0 May 3 on the Trojans' field.

Reygan Garcia scored once in each half for the Bluedevils. No stats were available for the Trojans.

FLHS sat in the 32nd position in Friday's update of the state's RPI index. The top 32 teams, based on the RPI and coaches' polls, move into the state 3A tournament next week.

First-round games are Thursday, May 13. Pairings are due out May 8.
