Gala Gean McClain, 57, of Thornton, passed away Jan. 28, 2013, in Wheat Ridge. She was born May 3, 1955, in Farwell, Texas, to Austin and Donna Duncan. She graduated from Thornton High School.
Gala is survived by her children, William Busch, of Brighton, Sharleena (Adam) Schooley, of Northglenn, Michael Busch, of Northglenn, and Melisa Rivera, of Commerce City; brother, David (Kristi) Duncan, of California; sister, Latrisha Pullins, of Denver; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents; one sister, Sabella McGrew, and one son, Theodore Bennett.
Memorial service was Feb. 5 at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home in Brighton, which handled the arrangements.
