Feb. 1
Firefighters responded to a ground cover fire at 5:19 p.m. in the 8000 block of Weld County Road 25. Firefighters found it to be part of a controlled burn. The fire was extinguished.
Feb. 2
Firefighters responded to a medical assist call at 1:53 a.m. in the 1000 block of Ninth Street. Paramedics took a refusal.
Firefighters responded to a medical assist call at 4:04 p.m. in the 15000 block of Caroline Avenue. Paramedics took a refusal.
Firefighters responded to a smoke alarm at 5:35 p.m. in the 1800 block of South Denver Avenue. It was a false alarm.
Feb. 3
Firefighters responded to a medical assist call at 1:57 a.m. in the 100 block of South McKinley Avenue. Paramedics handled the call.
Firefighters responded to a medical assist call at 5:18 a.m. in the 600 block of Broadway Avenue. One individual was transported to Longmont United Hospital.
Firefighters responded to a medical assist call at 8:27 a.m. in the 700 block of South Broadway Avenue. Paramedics transported one individual to Platte Valley Medical Center.
Firefighters responded to a report of a traffic accident at 6:31 p.m. in the area of state Highway 52 and U.S. Highway 85. It was a vehicle slide-off and there were no injuries.
Firefighters responded to a report of a traffic accident at 6:34 p.m. in the area of Weld County Road 18 and U.S. Highway 85. It was a two-vehicle slide off and there were no injuries.
Firefighters responded to a report of a traffic accident 6:49 p.m. in the area of U.S. Highway 85 and Weld County Road 14 ½. They were unable to locate the accident.
Firefighters responded to a traffic accident at 7:03 p.m. in the area of Weld County Road 6 and U.S. Highway 85. There were no injuries.
Feb. 4
Firefighters responded to a medical assist call at 9:36 a.m. in the 1000 block of Mountain View Avenue. Paramedics took a refusal.
Firefighters responded to a report of a power line down at 11:03 a.m. in the area of Weld County Road 31 and 8. United Power was contacted and it was determined to be a loose guide wire.
Firefighters responded to a medical assist call for a fall victim at 6:33 p.m. in the 400 block of Rollie Avenue. One individual was transported to Platte Valley Medical Center.
Firefighters responded to a medical assist call for an individual with breathing problems at 9:17 p.m. in the 15000 block of Good Avenue. One individual was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette.
Firefighters responded to a medical assist call at 11:34 p.m. in the 7000 block of Richards Street. The individual was transported to North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley.
Feb. 5
Firefighters responded to a car fire at 8:43 a.m. in the 14000 block of Weld County Road 18. The fire was extinguished.
Firefighters responded to a medical assist call at 9:51 a.m. in the 1000 block of Mountain View Avenue. One individual was transported to Platte Valley Medical Center.
Firefighters were dispatched to a medical assist call at 11:19 a.m. in the 200 block of 11th Street. The call was actually in Greeley.
Firefighters responded to a traffic accident at 1:53 p.m. in the area of Weld County Road 19 and state Highway 52. Paramedics transported one individual to North Colorado Medical Center by helicopter and another by ambulance.
Feb. 6
Firefighters responded to a medical assist call at 10:15 a.m. in the 15000 block of Morris Avenue. The individual was transported to Platte Valley Medical Center.
Firefighters responded to a standby medical assist call at 1:16 p.m. in the 1000 block of Mountain View Avenue. One individual was transported to Platte Valley Medical Center.
Firefighters responded to a medical assist call at 1:52 p.m. in the 6000 block of Weld County Road 31. It was actually an individual with a broken-down truck. There was no emergency.
Firefighters responded to a medical assist call at 11:18 p.m. in the 500 block of Lone Pine Street. One individual was transported to Platte Valley Medical Center.
Firefighters responded to a medical assist at 11:57 p.m. in the 5000 block of Weld County Road 25. One individual was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital.
Feb. 7
Firefighters responded to a standby call at 1:21 a.m. for the Brighton Fire Rescue District as they responded to a structure fire.
Firefighters responded to a traffic accident at 4:45 a.m. in the area of state Highway 52 and U.S. Highway 85. Firefighters were canceled and then were re-paged to the same area several minutes later. There were no injuries.
Firefighters responded to a report of a vehicle in a ditch at 5:52 a.m. in the area of state Highway 52 and U.S. Highway 85.
Firefighters responded to a report of a traffic accident at 7:15 a.m. in the area of U.S. Highway 85 and Weld County Road 8. En route to the accident, firefighters witnessed a vehicle slide off the road. They stopped to check on the condition of the vehicle occupants before they proceeded to the original accident, where there were no injuries.
Firefighters responded to a traffic accident at 8:46 a.m. in the area of U.S. Highway 85 and Weld County Road 25 ½. It was in the Platteville-Gilcrest Fire District.
