Engbarth, Grajeda join fire district board

FORT LUPTON – Voters elected two newcomers and a pair of incumbents to the Fort Lupton Fire Protection District board of directors Tuesday.

Arlen Engbarth was the top vote getter with 96 votes and earned one of three open four-year terms. Current board members Don Patton (72 votes) and Gordon Alexander (72 votes) were re-elected to the board. Board member Mark Davis could not hold on to his seat. He finished with 47 votes.

In the two-man race for a two-year board term, Mark Grajeda outdistanced Joseph Hogelin with 103 votes to Hogelin's 31.
