David E. Morrison, 80, of Brighton, died Oct. 27, 2011, at his home. He was one of 10 children and was born September 29, 1931 in Nobscot, Okla., to Robert and Metta (Albright) Morrison. He attended schools in Milton, Kan., and, after graduating, joined the US Air Force in 1952. David married Lynda Dunlop March 17, 1956, while stationed in Ramstein, Germany. He was honorably discharged in April 1956.
David is survived by his wife of 55 years, of Brighton; children, Glenn Morrison of Fort Lupton, Scott (Joann) Morrison of Broomfield, Gina (Damon) Selvidge of Brighton and Michael (Cheryl) Morrison of Brighton; brother, Jim Morrison of Pretty Prairie, Kan.; sister, Geneva Poe of Milton, Kan.; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m., Nov. 2, 2011, at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home in Brighton. Memorial contributions may be made to The Denver Hospice, 501 S. Cherry St., No. 700, Denver, CO 80246-1328.
