Daniel James Dreiling, 88, of Thornton, died June 27, 2011, in Northglenn.
He was born March 24, 1923, in St. Peter, Kan to Jaacob Dreiling and Anna Catherine Knoll.
Survivors include his wife, of Thornton; children, Carol (Patrick) Quinlan of Thornton, SueBeth (David) Wagner of Westminster, Thomas (Jeannie) Dreiling of Mobile, Ala., David (Michelle) Dreiling of Arvada, Leonard (Cindy) Dreiling of Linden, Colo., and Mary Catherine (John) Caputo of Vista, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; his sisters, Francis Brown, Albina Goetz, Eleanor Gable, Leona Gable, Florence Lindh and Viola Younger.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Helen, Bridgette and Viola.
Visitation, a Rosary and a Mass of Christian burial were July 5 at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 3141 W. 96th Ave., Westminster. Interment followed at Elmwood Cemetery. Tabor-Rice Funeral Home handled arrangements.
