CARA swim team meeting

The parent meeting for the Fort Lupton team in the Colorado Association of Recreational Athletics swimming league is at 7 p.m., Aug. 29, at the Fort Lupton Recreation Center, 203 S. Harrison Ave. The first practice is at 5:45 p.m., Sept. 7.

The program is a training and skill development session that runs four months. Swimmers compete against others around the state in four meets during the fall. The age of the swimmers as of Jan. 1, 2011, determines the swimmer's age group.

The fee to join is $75. Call 303-857-4200 with questions.
