FORT LUPTON -- Weld County sheriff's investigators said a missing 19-year-old turned up safe in Thornton.

Tevin Reinstein, who is developmentally delayed, was last seen running from the Buffalo Run Boys Home in the 1400 block of Weld County Road 18 1/2 north of Fort Lupton about a week before Christmas. A counselor at the facility was the last one to see Reinstein around 3:30 p.m.

Sheriff's investigators said Reinstein takes medication for seizures and bipolar disorder. He lived previously in Pueblo and was recently placed in the Fort Lupton facility. Spokesman Margie Martinez said Reinstein was not familiar with the Fort Lupton area.
