12/01/2018 - 8:30am - 8:30pm

Fort Lupton’s 14th annual Winterfest starts with a snowball softball tournament at Pearson Park, U.S. Highway 85 and state Highway 52.

Between then and the end of the activities at 8 p.m. (all at the Fort Lupton Recreation Center, 203 S. Harrison Ave.), there will cookies and cocoa with Santa (10 a.m. to noon at the Fort Lupton Public School & Library), a family fun run at 3 p.m., and a chili supper with an auction and a bake sale from 4 to 7 p.m.

It wouldn’t be Winterfest unless Santa stopped in. He’s due to arrive around 5 p.m. Between 5 and 8 p.m., there will be a tree-lighting ceremony and caroling. At 5:15 p.m., Crafts and vendors will be selling holiday items. There will also be a carnival jump house, train rides, carriage rides and a 6:30 p.m. performance by Legacy School of Dance.

At 7 p.m., there will be bingo.
