Spring clean-up day

04/15/2019 - 8:00am - 12:00pm

The free clean-up day for residents to clean house and dispose of household items, including yard debris, is Saturday, April 27. It’s a one-day event for residents of Fort Lupton to get rid of items which are difficult to toss. Bring the items to the public works yard at 800 12th St. from 8 a.m. to noon. The staff will be available on site to assist residents with the disposal of items.

At the drop-off location, bring a copy of a utility bill or a driver’s license as proof of residency and only two pickup-sized truckloads of items. It’s $4 for disposal of car or truck tires, $10 for semi tires and $15 for larger tires than a semi. Also, bring electronics, computers, CRT’s, TVs and monitors. The cost is $25 for less than 25 inches, $30 for items between 27 and 32 inches, $50 for 32 inches and larger and $5 for flat screen TVs and miscellaneous electronics.

Seniors and the disabled can schedule curbside pickup Thursday and Friday, April 25 and April 26, by calling 303-857-6694.
