New sports top CHSAA Legislative Council meeting

-A A +A
By Steve Smith

Sanctioning of boys volleyball, unified bowling and girls wrestling is part of the agenda awaiting the Colorado High School Legislative Council. Its one meeting this year starts at 8 a.m. Wednesday, April 23, at the Denver Marriott Tech Center, 4900 S. Syracuse Parkway.

All three sports went through the trial run phase of the approval process since the school year began. The boys volleyball proposal makes it a spring sport. Girls wrestling would run during the winter athletic calendar. Unified bowling could become a fall sport.
