LETTER: Thanks for all who helped the Blessings in a Bag Program

-A A +A

The Fort Lupton Blessings in a Bag Program would like to thank the Ceretto Trapper Day’s Bike and Car show for their donation of $3222.00 to the program.

They all work very hard on the Bike and Car Show and BBQ sandwich sales and we are so thankful that we were chosen to receive a donation from them.

We would also like to thank the United Power Round Up Program for their grant of $2,000. The  Round Up money is from all of us who round up our bill to the nearest dollar; just think you all have contributed to the feeding of hungry children in Fort Lupton. Thank you.

All this money is used to buy food for the hungry children in Twombly and Butler Elementary Schools in Ft. Lupton. The bags are filled with child friendly, nutritious food each week and given to the children on the last day of school that week to carry the children over the weekend until they return to school the following Monday. This helps the child concentrate and do better in school and also the children have better attendance because they are sick less often.

Thank you so much for supporting the Blessings in a Bag Program.
