FORT LUPTON — Crossroads Church, 1115 First St. in Fort Lupton, will host a benefit concert event Saturday, June 7, for the victims of the June 2 car crash that killed one teenager and critically injured three others.

“Due to this event, Ft Lupton's goServe Day has taken a new turn," said Crossroads Church Pastor Matt Manning regarding the previously scheduled event. "Instead of throwing a community festival event, we are going to use the event as a benefit/healing time for the community. At the event we will take donations, have food available, and some activities for children. All of the proceeds raised that afternoon will be equally distributed to the families of the four teenage boys.”

The event begins at 11:30 a.m. June 7 in the parking lot and grass area of the church, and will include music by Jude Del Hierro with Confluence Ministries, burgers and hot dogs, carnival games, two bouncy castles and a raffle featuring items such as a family four-pack of tickets to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, a four-pack of Denver Zoo passes, AMC Brighton tickets Buffalo Wild Wings gift certificates, among others.

The event is open to the public and there is no charge to attend or enter the raffle. The cost of food is $1 per plate, and all proceeds will go directly the the families of the crash victims. Monetary donations also will be accepted.
