One year’s experience enough for college track

He ran track for part of one year in high school.

But that was enough for Colby (Kan.) Community College to sign Fort Lupton’s Isaiah Padilla to a letter of intent.

“Mr. Kaylor (Fort Lupton High School principal and soon-to-be Weld Re-8 Superintendent Alan Kaylor) introduced me to this college,” Padilla said. “I respect all of his decisions. He said I would really like this college. He tried to help me figure out what was best for me.”
