Shannon Nicole Atkins, of Commerce City, and Shawn Cory Summers, of Eaglewood, announce the birth of their son, Jason Terex Summers, born May 2, 2012, at Platte Valley Medical Center in Brighton. Jason weighed 5 pounds, 1 ounce and measured 18 inches.
    Grandparents are Robert Steve Atkins, of Hudson, Yvonne Schule Atkins, of Brighton, Neil Howard Summer, of Eaglewood, and Laura Soesphine Ratliff, of Sheridan, Wyo.
