Weld Re-8 school district officials are discussing ways to cut the 2017-2018 budget if per pupil revenue is cut by the state.
School district superintendent Alan Kaylor recently asked administrators at each school to tell him where they might make possible cuts. About 65 percent of the district’s budget goes to personnel costs, which makes for sometimes difficult conversations, he said at a recent school board meeting.
