Aims Community College announced a $5,000 grant from United Power. The gift will be directed to name a student study space within the new Fort Lupton facility on the Aims campus, scheduled to open for classes fall 2014.
“We are excited about our partnership with United Power. Their history with rural cooperatives is a great fit for our Agriculture programs that will soon be offered on the Aims Fort Lupton campus,” said Dr. Marsi Liddell, president of Aims Community College.
United Power, a Touchstone Energy cooperative, provides electricity to more than 70,000 homes and businesses on Colorado’s northern front range.
