AURORA -- The Colorado High School Activities Association released the pairings for the state 3A wrestling tournament Sunday afternoon.
The first round is at 3 p.m., Thursday, at Pepsi Center.
106 pounds --Ferdinando Martinez (20-14) vs. Cody Pfau (Grand Valley, 28-7)
113 -- Ben Medina (19-11) vs. Jordan Birch (The Classical Academy, 27-12)
126 -- Dakota Macy (26-15) vs. Ben Pridy (Olathe, 28-12)
145 -- Zech Garcia (24-15) vs. Connor Craddock (Colorado Springs Christian, 19-9)
170 -- DJ Vurciaga (35-7) vs. Jerry Juarardo (Coal Ridge, 13-17)
182 -- Austin Sailas (17-18) vs. Cody Garrett (Middle Park, 27-9)
220 -- Jacob Ornelas (30-11) vs. Aaron Medina (Lake County High School, 23-11)
Quarterfinals begin at 10 a.m., Friday. Finals are set for 6:30 p.m., Saturday.
