Road work starts Thursday on WCR 30

Crews will be constructing a new bridge deck on Weld County Road 30 east of U.S. Highway 85 starting Thursday.

The work should take until the end of the year. The bridge deck is less than a quarter-mile from the intersection.

Bowen Winter, a spokesman for Anadarko Petroleum Corp., which is in charge of the work, said message boards on U.S. Highway 85 will announce the closure. Detour routes are WCR 32 or 38 east to WCR 31.
