Mollie Dagenhart, 98, of Fort Lupton, passed away Dec. 1, 2012, in Brighton. She was born April 11, 1914, in Mead, to John and Emelia (Miller) Smith. She attended schools in the Mead and Longmont area and later married John Dagenhart April 28, 1946, in Platteville.
Mollie has spent the majority of her life in the Platteville, Mead and Fort Lupton area and was a member of St. Williams Catholic Church. In her free time, Mollie loved to crochet and work in her garden and her yard. She loved cooking, baking and spending time with her family. She was a very dedicated, loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.
She is survived by children, John Dagenhart of Paramount, Calif., Millie (Tom) Callaway, of Fort Lupton, and Kathy Dagenhart, of Brighton; 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Mollie was preceded in death by her husband, John, in 1990; two sons, Dean Smith in 2008 and Albert Dagenhart in 2012; nine brothers and two sisters.
A Rosary service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012. Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7, 2012. All services will be held at St. Williams Catholic Church. Interment at Mizpah Cemetery.
