Lynette Joy VanMatre

    Lynette Joy VanMatre, 67, of Fort Lupton, died Jan. 31, 2012, at Platte Valley Medical Center in Brighton.
    She was born Oct. 12, 1945, in Grand Island, Neb., to William Marcus Synder and Winnifred Grace Plymale.
    Survivors include daughters, Jackie VanMatre and Summer J. Schwartz, of Colorado; sons, Christopher E. VanMatre, Carl Snyder, Patrick L. Rucker and Carl A. Synder, of Colorado; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
    She was preceeded in death by her parents; brothers, Willie Mills and James Synder; and sisters, Claire Conner and Winnifred.
    Private family services took place.
