Front Range Auto opens Brighton location

    BRIGHTON — Offering more choices for Brighton and Fort Lupton car shoppers, Front Range Auto, 201 Great Western Road in Brighton, is open and fully stocked with a varied selection of preowned cars, trucks and SUVs.
    Keeping his inventory at about 70 cars on the lot at all times makes for a good variety, according to owner Eddie Couch. Adding a six-month, 6,000-mile warranty to every vehicle makes for a positive experience for the buyer, something Couch says helps take the worry out of the ownership experience.

    Couch, who moved from his Broomfield lot of 15 years due to a CDOT take over of the property, looks to the experience as a positive opportunity to grow along with the expanding Brighton community.
    “We went from being really disappointed about having to move to being excited about the new location,” Couch said, adding that the business bears his assertion out so far.
    “Business has been good. We are encouraged,” Couch said. “We didn’t know what to expect; we didn’t know what inventory to stock, but we are encouraged. More than half of our sales so far have been to local Brighton people and Fort Lupton people.”
    The local sales have been a positive, versus relying on Internet draws or repeat buyers, a large staple of the Broomfield dealership and a concern for Couch with the move.
    “It was sizable,” Couch said, of his returning customer base.
    Collectively, Couch says he and his sales staff have more than 100 years experience in the auto sales business. Couch has been in the business 30 years, 20 of which have been spent working his way to general manager status with the Doug Moreland Auto Group. Along with that experience comes a close connection to the business and youth community, of which Couch says he is a strong supporter.
    “We are very supportive of the community,” Couch said from his office festooned with pictures of youth sports he has boosted throughout the years.  “We support the high schools, sporting groups. Whatever is youth-oriented we try to get involved in.”
    “Our financing ranges for every major credit union in Colorado to every major lender or bank,” Couch said. “We also do buy here-pay here financing. Our missions, our motto has always been, ‘Everyone drives at Front Range Auto.’”
