Eighth annual Community and Education Summit

Weld Re-8 School District’s eighth annual Community and Education Summit Meeting will be in the Fort Lupton High School commons.

The public will have an opportunity to review and provide input into the challenges facing the district as well as comment about recent success in the district’s schools.

Administrators from throughout the district will be providing information and addressing questions on such topics as student achievement, budget considerations, district operations and facilities.

Snack-type food and drinks will be available to the public (not a meal) beginning at 6 p.m. The annual community input meeting starts at 6:30 and will conclude by 7:45 p.m. The regular school board meeting will begin at 7:45, and the public is welcome to attend this meeting.

                  Registration is not required but strongly encouraged so the district may prepare the room and provide for snacks before the meetings. Those interested in attending should call Wendy Sarazen at 303-857-3203 by Jan. 19.
