Clint Cook, a 2011 Fort Lupton High School graduate, has been named to the 2012 Colorado Mesa University dean’s list.
The Dean’s List recognizes students who achieve a grade point average of between 3.50 and 3.99 while enrolled in a minimum of 12 semester hours. His GPA was 3.62 for the fall of 2012.
Clint is a sophomore at CMU majoring in kinesiology with a focus on fitness and health. He wants to become an occupational therapist. Clint was a stand-out student athlete at FLHS, earning all-conference and all-academic awards in football, basketball and baseball. He was a 2011 Wendy’s High School Heisman School winner, and received the Bob Felps Memorial Scholarship for Athletic Excellence, Bluedevil Youth Football and Cheerleading Club Scholarship, Platte Valley Medical Staff Scholarship, Brighton Knights of Columbus Scholarship, Valley Bank and Trust Scholarship, Fort Lupton PTSA Scholarship, Fort Lupton Booster Club Scholarship, Fort Lupton United Methodist Church Scholarship, Fort Lupton Community Foundation Deason Scholarship, and United States Specialty Sports Association Scholarship.
He played fall baseball for McCook Community College in Nebraska before transferring to Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction last year. He is now playing rugby for CMU and was the rookie MVP for his first rugby game this fall.
