The Fort Lupton Food and Clothing Bank on June 6 received a $5,000 donation from the North Central chapter of the Colorado Oil and Gas Association “to help fight hunger in our community.”
Association members Travis Bydalek and Chris Tooley presented the check to food and clothing bank president Dale Hostetter, who said the funds will be put into the organization’s operating budget, “which in turn helps keep the doors open to meet the need.
“As a nonprofit, we rely on the generosity of companies and the communities we serve to donate their time and/or money to help end hunger,” Hostetter said. “So, if you find it in your heart to help fight hunger, please consider a donation to the Fort Lupton Food and Clothing Bank.”
Hostetter also praised the association for its generosity.
“The Fort Lupton Food and Clothing Bank is honored to receive help from the local gas and oil industry that supports 110,000 jobs (and) we thank them for their generous support,” Hostetter said. “It was a pleasure working with Chris and getting to know Travis, and we are looking forward to our long-term relationship.”
